You Are My Sunshine

They’d talked about a lot of things before Nico, Reyna and Hedge had left. Mostly the future. He’d managed to convince Nico to play mythomagic with him when this was all over. The winner would have to buy the other lunch. Right before they split up, Jason had pulled out a polaroid camera. It was a bit beaten up and didn’t really look like it worked, but Jason had been very adamant about wanting a “selfie” with Nico before they left. When he’d offered the picture to Nico, he’d refused.

"I’ll just lose it."

Jason had slipped it into the pocket of Nico’s jacket anyway.
